Gw sukaaa banget makanan korea. Pertamanya sih gara-gara nonton drama korea, apalagi yang ngeliatin karakternya lagi makan, wih enak banget keliatannya. Nah, kalo lo pernah nonton drama korea yang kayak Let's Eat, lo bakal ngiler banget ngeliatin makanannya. Ada ramyeon, bibimbap, budae jjigae, trus kepiting yang direndem kecap asin, daging babi yang dibungkus selada, trus cara karakternya makan... SLURP! bakal bikin laper & pengen makan makanan korea banget lah!

I love Korean food. It started since I watched many Korean dramas, especially those that have scenes of the characters eating Korean cuisines. If you ever watch k-drama like Let's Eat, you'll be drooling over some Korean foods that look super delicious. Name it, ramyeon, bibimbap, budae jjigae, those marinated raw crab, pork meat wrapped in lettuce, plus the way they eat...  SLURP! You'll be like, "I wanna eat that! Right now!"

[ENG] Budae Jjigae (Korean Army Base Stew)

Okay, i have a confession. The photo above was not the one i made :(( It was from 2 years ago when i went to a korean restaurant ^^ So, my friends & I had a samgyeopsal party at my place, and we also made this budae jjigae. It was really yummy! I would say the taste's not so different from what i ate in the restaurant, and maybe even better, since we added  a certain "secret ingredient" that i'll reveal in the end of this post kkk...

But i was too busy eating that i didn't any get pretty shots :( And the food was gone in a flash, so nope, there's no way i had time for taking pictures hahaha... These are also the photos at the korean restaurant, just to give you an idea of what budae jjigae is like..

[ENG] Korean BBQ - Samgyeopsal Party

Last Saturday, me & my friends had a samgyeopsal party at my house. Samgyeopsal is basicly a korean pork belly bbq. The pork belly is usually not marinated, but after grilling it, you dip it in a salt-sesame oil mixture and also a savory sauce called ssamjang that's made from hot pepper paste & soy bean paste. There are lots of kind of korean bbq but i particularly love this one since i love meat that has a good layer of fat in it. pork belly just perfect for this. yum. Korean always make their lettuce wrap when they have their bbq, it's a grilled  meat with some sauce and other things wrap with a fresh lettuce leaf. It's so good & you get to eat your veggie too, in a delicious way ;)

[ENG] Say Kimchi !! :D

How do you like your kimchi? I like it really ripe & sour since i usually just put them in when i make jjigae or even when i grill samgyeopsal. I do sometime eat fresh kimchi, and even though i really love spicy food, i prefer my fresh kimchi to be mild & slightly sweet. But i don't know what was going on in my mind, i always end up putting too much red pepper flakes. Like, i need the sauce to be really red lol

yes, like blood red *-*

I really recommend you to use the korean red pepper flakes to get that beautiful red color on your kimchi. It's also taste different from other red pepper flakes, it's not that spicy and "slightly sweet".

[Food Review] Pasar Santa Food Experience

Happy New Year guyz!! Gilak telat bgt ya hahahaa... Gak kerasa udah pertengahan Januari aja... Abis akhir taun mudik ke Bali, ntah kenapa rasanya malessss bgt ngapa2in. Padahal udah pengen bgt bikin2 kue lg, tp saking mager-nya ampe skrg blom gw lakuin huhuhu... Gw jg sebenernya udah rencana nulis food review untuk makanan2 yang gw makan selama di Bali, jadi tungguin aja ya hahaa.. 

Jadi hari Sabtu kemaren abis bantu2 di tempat kerja bokap, gw ber4 sama bokap, kakak, & adek gw pergi makan waffel ke Crematology di daerah Senopati. Nah, lo jg mesti cobain nih buttermilk waffel-nya, krn mnurut gw sih enak bgt, lebih enak dr waffel A&W (yg gw suka bgt, tp bukan yg pake es krim, yg pake mentega)

Trus abis makan waffel, kakak gw ngajakin ke pasar santa yg lokasinya emank di Senopati jg, padahal kt udah lumayan kenyang, tp ya suw lah kapan lg ke pasar santa ;)
